Klir's paper plant was set up in Ofakim as part of Klir's vision to develop industry in the Negev. The plant received its authorization from the Investment Center.

The plant's employees are residents of the Negev. They are engaged in manufacturing and quality control of all the paper products produced by Klir.

The paper products at Ofek-Klir are manufactured using cutting edge technology and all stages of production and supply are closely monitored.

Ofek-Klir has received authorization from ISO-9001:2000 and carries the Israeli stamp of approval.
